How we got here
The frustration
Our founder bought her fifth "sterling silver" ring from a fast-fashion brand. It turned green in three days. She was done.
The research
316L surgical-grade stainless steel. Used in medical implants, pacemakers, bone screws. If it works in the human body, it works on the wrist. We built NOVS around this one material.
Belgium first
We launched from Brussels. Small batches, real pieces, no middlemen. Designed to stack, wear 24/7, and never ask for a break.

The people behind it

NOVS is the two of us — Shi and Sky — running things from our apartment in Brussels. We get up early, pack orders ourselves, and reply to every message. Our cat Nova supervises from the couch (with little cat ears on, obviously).
We started NOVS because we were fed up buying jewelry that went black in two weeks. We wanted something we could actually wear all the time — without wondering if it would hold up.
