Sizing Guide
Don't guess. Guessing is how a ring ends up in a drawer.
Two minutes, no equipment, and you'll know.
Best method, if you have one that fits the right finger.
Measure the inside diameter in millimetres, edge to edge at the widest point. Then match it on the chart below. Don't measure the outside and don't measure the band.
Cut a thin strip of paper, about 6mm wide. Wrap it round the base of the finger — snug, not tight. Mark where it overlaps, unwrap it, measure the length in millimetres. That's your circumference; the chart converts it.
Do it at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest. Never when you're cold — you'll come out half a size small and the ring will spin.
| Circumference (mm) | Diameter (mm) | EU | UK | US |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 44.2 | 14.1 | 44 | F | 3 |
| 46.8 | 14.9 | 46 | H | 4 |
| 49.3 | 15.7 | 49 | J½ | 5 |
| 51.9 | 16.5 | 51 | L½ | 6 |
| 54.4 | 17.3 | 54 | N½ | 7 |
| 56.9 | 18.1 | 57 | P½ | 8 |
| 59.5 | 18.9 | 59 | R½ | 9 |
| 62.1 | 19.8 | 62 | T½ | 10 |
| 64.6 | 20.6 | 64 | V½ | 11 |
Size up. A slightly loose ring is wearable; a tight one isn't.
Two exceptions. A wide band fits tighter than a thin one at the same size, so size up for anything over 6mm. And if your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, size for the knuckle — it has to get past that to go on at all.
Still unsure? Buy adjustable. It's the honest answer for a first order, and it's why we make them.
Measure the inside diameter of a ring that already fits, or wrap a thin paper strip around your finger and measure where it overlaps — then match either number to an EU/UK/US size chart.
Around EU 52–54 (US 6–7), though it varies enough by hand and by finger that measuring is always worth the two minutes over assuming an average.
Size up if you're unsure. A slightly loose ring is still wearable; a tight one isn't. Size up further for wide bands over 6mm or a knuckle larger than the base of the finger.
Yes — a wide band fits tighter than a thin one at the same labeled size, because more metal touches more of your finger. Size up for anything over 6mm wide.
Roughly EU 54 / US 7 — check the chart above for the exact circumference match, since a millimetre either way moves you a full size.
